What IT equipment do you collect?
Laptops, desktops, tower PCs and all-in-ones, servers, NAS and storage arrays, and loose hard drives (HDD and SSD). Mixed loads are fine — just tell us roughly what you have when you book.
How do you ensure our data is completely destroyed?
Every data-bearing device is wiped to NIST 800-88 government-grade standards. Where a device is faulty or beyond repair, the storage media is physically destroyed. You receive a signed destruction certificate listing every device by serial number — giving you a full audit trail for ICO compliance.
Is your service GDPR and WEEE compliant?
Yes. All data destruction processes follow UK GDPR requirements and ICO guidance. We are also WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliant, ensuring all equipment is disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. Full documentation is provided for your records.
What happens to our IT equipment after collection?
After secure data destruction, every device is assessed for reuse. Working laptops and PCs are refurbished and rehomed, extending their useful life. Equipment that cannot be reused is broken down and recycled responsibly through compliant channels. Nothing goes to landfill.
Do you pay for IT equipment?
For most collections the service is completely free — we recover value from the hardware so there is no charge to you. Free collection is subject to device type, quantity and location; we will always confirm suitability before booking. For larger batches of quality equipment we can assess the value and offer a payment, effectively unlocking the residual value from your surplus IT assets.
